Walking Tacos
Once upon a time there was a walking taco named Paco. He was a nice little taco, Paco lived with his whole family in a Frito's bag. But one day someone opened the bag and put lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and meat in it! Then they stuck a fork in the bag and started to eat Paco's family! He had to stop the giant from eating him and the rest of his family. All of a sudden the giant threw the bag into a garbage can, finally the Frito's family was saved! Paco and his family lived happily ever after in that garbage can!

Camping
This weekend I went camping! My whole family went even my grandparents. We went up to Governor Dodge which is a 2hr car dive from Pewaukee. My little sister was watching a movie called positively Pink and it has the my little pony's in it so the theme song is stuck in my head now. It's about a pony called Pinkie Pie and its he birthday so the rest of the pony's through her a surprise birthday party but the only problem is its her birthday tomorrow. The movie is really short and a little annoying because my little sister watched t about 15 times. after we got to Governor Dodge we set up the camper and then we made a fire. We stayed up there from Friday night through Monday morning. It was a lot of fun!!!

Sesame Street
My favorite character on Sesame Street is the Cookie Monster. I love the cookie monster because he is so cool. My other fav. character is Elmo. Elmo has his own part in the show where he goes la la la la, la la la la Elmo's World. He has a goldfish named Dorthy and she lives with Elmo in his house which is colored in crayon. Sesame Street is a awesome show for little kids.

Siberian Tigers
Siberian Tigers
By Gabby Zibell
How would you like to be trapped in a small boring place with a hard concrete floor? Well, for Siberian Tigers there’s no choice. They’re forced to live in small compact rooms where they’re put on display for our entertainment. These tigers need space to run and play and yet they’re trapped and only get to go outside when the weather is nice. They’re the largest cat on the planet but zoo Tigers are typically much smaller than healthy ones found in the wild since they do not develop muscle mass due to their limited activity. Siberian Tigers shouldn’t be kept in zoos because they’re so big and they need space to hunt and run and they of course shouldn’t be trapped in a tiny space for us too see.
Since Siberian Tigers are the largest in the cat family they need quite a lot of space to hunt, run, and play. In zoos they’re stuck in small compact rooms and pens. The usual space a tiger needs for their territory is 120 square miles. If the tigers in the wild were to come back from being endangered and we released zoo raised tigers back into the wild they would likley not survive. In zoos they are losing their health and instincts needed each time a new generation is born. Zoos say they are helping animals to escape from extinction but all they’re doing is dooming these poor animals further.
Since their muscle mass is reduced considerably they look sick. We could possibly fix this problem by making bigger areas for them in zoos or by releasing them into the wild and making sure we don’t hunt them down to extinction. People hunt tigers for their furs so that they can make money. A picture of a living tiger is more beautiful than their fur stretched out on a wall for decoration.
Siberian Tigers need help. We aren’t doing anything except reducing their chances for survival in the wild. These animals are huge so their enclosures should be too. They live in tiny rooms put on display for us to enjoy. Tigers should be free or at least have bigger enclosures with live animals to hunt in them. They would then be able to build up muscle mass and also learn some survival instincts. If their numbers in the wild change so that they are less endangered they could then possibly be released at some point and survive in the wild without our interference.

Queen of Apostles Park
So Saturday I went to the park with Jackie and it was sooooooooo much fun!!! We went on the tire swing and we both got motion sickness, but after a while we were all better then we raced down the double slides, I won. Then we played Lava Monster with Melissa and the kids she was babysitting. Then we played Frisbee with a giant blue Frisbee. I also tried to make a whipped cream bottle explode but it didn't much to my disappointment. Then we went downtown to The Chocolate Factory and the gas station and I got a Sobe water. I also got a nice warm croissant and Jackie got some yummy bread, it was so good. Then we went back to Queen of Apostles Park and hung out some more. It was awesome!!!!!

Zibell the Zebra (Team Jacob)
A vacation to Florida
With Jackie and her Zebra
I am a red and black zebra (the red comes first). I live in my owner’s backyard, in a huge house (like Clifford’s) that on the inside is a bounce house and trampoline. I love my owner; she's amazingly awesome.
I have an owner, her name is Jackie. She’s totally awesome and every spring break we go to Florida. It’s so much fun, we always go to beaches and we got to swim in the ocean. It’s so much fun I got to meet all of Jackie’s family; they’re all really nice. Jackie used to live in Texas. She has 2 brothers and me.
On the first day in Florida Jackie and I both had jet lag so it was really boring. We got to hang out with her family and we slept a lot. After about 7 hours in bed we decided t get up and go to the beach. Everyone was staring at us because I was a red and black zebra and they were all saying how I was sun burnt and that I looked weird but Jackie told everyone if you don’t have anything nice to say don't say anything at all, so they all went away and we finally got to swim in the ocean.
Since day 1 in Florida didn’t go so well… we went to Disney World!!! It was so much fun! Everyone was nice and there were all they Mickey Mouse characters and the princesses. We got to stay in Cinderella's castle and it was all so pretty. There were fireworks and we got to go to the theme park and water park. We even got those cute little Mickey Mouse hats with the ears on them.
Today I’m very happy because yesterday was fabulous!!! Jackie and I get to go to Magic Kingdom today so I hope it will be fun. Magic Kingdom has all the Disney characters; we saw Cinderella, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Goofy. As we were leaving a man gave us tickets for backstage tours because he said I was the coolest zebra in the world. We were soooo happy I guess we know what we’re doing tomorrow…

Homework
Why do we have homework? Is it because the teachers want us to learn or because their mean? I think we have homework to help us understand what the teachers are teaching us. I wish we didn’t have homework because it’s boring and hard, plus it takes up time when we could be with friends or outside. It would be better to just do practice in class because if we have a question we can ask the teacher but with homework you can’t do that unless your parents know how to help you. I wish I could go back in time and stop the person who invented homework but, then we all might be stupid because we wouldn’t learn how to work by ourselves and we wouldn’t learn anything, so I guess homework is a good thing but it’s really boring.

Intro for Streetwise (Team Jacob)
It was a cold night and there were fights all night long. Living on the streets was never what I wanted, I'm not like other homeless people. I came from a family, born and grew up in a home. when I was little I was afraid of homeless people, until I became one. My life will never be the same, now that I've spent long nights on the streets, living in a box, never knowing who's near,or if you'll even make it thought the night. Some people over look homeless people, there not that different, they just need help.
Streetwise Response
Homeless people are just like us but people never notice or help them. Streetwise is about a boy named Kyle who doesn't like homeless people and he doesn't understand them, until he becomes one. Kyle doesn't have a home and every day he has to look for food or ask people for money. The daily struggle for Kyle is when he has to go to shelters and there always crowded and there are fights every night. Kyle is always trying to stay away from gangs because he knows they will try to beat him up and take his cloths. Eventually Kyle gets a job and a apartment and he's living a normal life but now he always tries to help the homeless.

School
Sometimes school can be sooooooooo boring like when you just want it to end because your doing something fun afterwords but time just seams to stand still. Most of the time though school is really fun because you get to pick your classes and if you have them with your friends. My favorite class is language arts because I like to read. My favorite elective is F.A.C.E because I thought it was fun to learn how to sew with a sewing machine.

Vacations (Team Jacob)
Last year at Thanksgiving I went to Texas to visit some of my step mom’s friends. It was the first time I ever got to ride in an airplane; it was fun and scary. While we were in Dallas and we also went to the NASA Space Center in Houston; it was awesome!!! I really wanted to go to see the ocean and I got to. My family and I saw a dead jellyfish and it was all gross and slimy. I found a sand dollar and a lot of other shells. My whole family came to Texas but when I went to the NASA Space Center only my older brother, my dad, and myself went because my younger brother and sister would have been really annoying on the way because the car ride was really long. It was so warm there but it was also raining a lot too. When we got back there was snow everywhere and I thought yes winter but after a few days I was like ugh snow. And that was my vacation to Texas but does it really count as a vacation because we were on break???
